Omni-Step Manual & Electric:  Omni-Step variants include full manual operation where the step is pulled in and out by hand and 12v operation of single double or slide-out steps operated by a switch. A supplied relay & warning lamp can be fitted to retract the step when the engine is started, and warn if not completed, Also an optional electronic kit enables additional operation by door contact and allows setting the step to be retracted when starting the engine and/or the door is opened & closed. Omni-Step Construction & Comfort:  All Omni-Steps have galvanised frames. The step is made of anodised aluminium with safe rounded edges. For most steps the side plates are in anodised aluminium and the end caps are fluorescent so they can be spotted easily in the dark. Both manual and electrical versions meet the European EN1646 standard. For improved strength the Omni-step 12v Double has double profiles on both sides.  Danger of slipping is avoided because the step is in ribbed aluminium and now incorporates anti-slip rubber strips.
