What is an A-Class Motorhome? Good question since they're also call B and S class in Germany! The answer though is a fully integrated motorhome where the cab is also part of the conversion and as a result is the same width as the main body as pictured in our examples on the right. Also they almost always also have a pull-down bed on gas/oil struts located underneath the cab roof - although that feature is no longer definitive because it is now finding its way into some low-profile models.

The term "Silver Screens" is used here like 'Hoover' and 'Biro' and 'Caravanette' to identify a well known product group. These are not the original Silver Screens as sold by J & M Designs of Cleckheaton.

New: Kantop External Thermal Screens:  External "Silver Screens" for A-class motorhomes. Manufactured in Germany where they know all about keeping cosy and comfortable in winter! These are similar to our Isomat external screens for C-class coachbuilts and van cabs and so they help extend your season in winter and to add extra comfort in summer by cooling your motorhome when in strong sun, and all while also offering excellent privacy. Externals are of course the best choice for maximum effect and minimum condensation. These excellent units provide superior protection against all extreme temperatures and come complete with exterior rails that are fixed to the outside above the driver and passenger side windows / doors. They are easy to install for anyone with basic DIY skills, with both fixing rails and a tube of Sikaflex included in the price of the kit, and then very easy to fit once the rails are in place. This system provides a unobtrusive but secure and permanent anchorage point and results in a very neat and tidy screen assembly - which is good for insulation too. The rail is hidden when the screens are in place and importantly also looks the part when not. Top quality materials are used throughout and the screens can be neatly stowed away in the supplied bag. Fold-down?  Not really possible as this might damage the screens as fitted to an a-class, they can however often be moved down by adjusting the Velcro link between front and sides. See Polar below for fold-downs.

Dates & Other Vehicles:  Dates given are nominally chassis build dates and not registration dates so you do need to be especially careful at model change-over points, many late 2006 and early 2007 vehicles can be a problem if not correctly identified! Our own motorhome chassis was built 20 months before it was registered so if in doubt please don't guess but work with us to get it right. We'll ask you for extra vehicle information when you buy to make sure you receive the right screens to suit your particular combination of screen, door/s and windows. Interior Screens (only) are also available for some popular late model RVs, we'll need lots of info to start with probably plus photos and paper patterns to be sure though!  Please

If we can't supply from our standard stock we do offer a made to measure service for these internals (only), the extra cost isn't great but delivery is obviously extended.
