Safari-Room 5800:  Safari-Room with Velcro fastening. These Safari-Rooms are designed especially for the Omnistor 5800 with colour-way matched sides and front. For lengths of 4m upward the projection is 2.75m while the 3.00 and 3.50m awnings have a projection of 2.50m. The connection between the awning fabric and side poles is done with Velcro for a more wind proof connection. Details of the awning length, mounting height and colour are required to order exactly the right product - we will help you with these before or after placing your order

Safari-Room 5002 / 5003:  The popular 5002 and other '5 Series' Safari-Rooms are available as kits or can also be made up as required from components to match the length and mounting height of the awning itself or even as a made to measure product as below. Unlike the 5800 and the made to measure rooms the end panels are in plain light grey fabric but the front panel is colour matched to any standard awning colour. Details of the awning length, mounting height and colour are required to order exactly the right product - we'll gladly help with these before or after placing your order. For flat sided vehicles the Safari-Room is now largely replaced by Safari-Residence. For curved sidea including say Ducato Van conversions Safari-Room is still the right one.

Safari-Room made to size:  For very little extra cost we can make up a safari-room to suit your particular Omnistor model and installation - new or existing.  The made to size versions have matched colour-ways on both sides and front like the 5800 illustrated above.  At modest extra cost different door positions can be specified and windows modified if required.  It is also possible to raise the front height if the 'caravan door' is awkwardly high in relation to the awning.  Details of the awning length, mounting height and colour are required to order exactly the right product - we will help you with these before or after placing your order.

Comfort:  From 3m onwards the front panel window has a zipper. The left hand side panel has a mosquito screen and pvc curtain. Optional curtains in Rio blue and in Paris green with seamed edges. (for 5m and upwards always order a 4 curtain set!). 

Optional Rafters:  Tension rafters including a universal model are available as optional extras for awnings or safari-rooms; a tension rafter is supplied as standard for awnings of 4m upwards.  A bend tension rafter is also available as an option for series 5 awnings of 3.5m upwards and 2.25 to 2.75 projection. Mounting height:  Four different mounting heights are catered for. The mounting height is measured from the base of the awning body to the ground. Options are (S) 2.00-2.19m +/- 0.2, (M) 2.20-2.39m +/- 0.4, (L) 2.40-2.59m +/- 0.6, (XL) 2.60-2.80m +/- 0.6m.  Alternative mounting heights are catered for in the made to size product.

Delivery:  Many items are available ex stock especially those in the popular grey & blue colour-ways and for medium and large mounting heights.  Some items are not held in the UK and for these delivery is 1-2 weeks.  Made to measure items normally take about 3 weeks possibly 4. We would be pleased to advise once your requirements are precisely known.

Ordering:  To order a safari-room to fit an existing awning you will need to know the model and size of awning you have and the height from ground to base of the awning body. If buying both new you need to establish the intended mounting height, this is an important measurement and shouldn't be guessed at in case there are mounting obstacles on or in your motorhome!  If in doubt contact us for help!
