Project 2000 Steps: Well built and sturdy steps combining galvanised steel with anodised aluminium components for longer life. The step of choice for many manufacturers including Autosleepers. Can also be used on some mini buses and taxis to provide better access for those with less mobility. Simple automation is possible and spares are available.

New in 2011: A whole new range for us complimenting the already successful Omni-step products here.

Features: The robust design incorporates anti-slip and anodised aluminium footboards, a galvanised steel structure, prompt opening and closing and manual release systems if no power available. Motors and gearboxes are integrated with sealed bearings. Most of these steps fold in and out with a 'see-saw' motion so they fold into the position shown on the drawing at right.

Manual, Electric & Electronic: These steps offer full manual operation where the step is pulled in and out by hand or 12v operation of many versions. Optional wiring harness, relay, etc for the electronic steps. Please do note the difference between slide-out steps and swing-out / see-saw/ fold-out double / single steps - the mechanism, retracted positions, and the final step height all differ. Buy >>>

NB: Manual steps are not recommended for use on PSVs, mini-buses, etc., electric steps wired for auto-retract are the only recommended option for proper safety, insurance issues, etc.

Please note that not all vehicles will accept a step. SWB versions are a particular problem but any converted vehicle can have obstructions - anything from pipes/cables to added chassis outriggers - please check yours!
