Hint:  A smaller size is often best and most economic for battery charging but to run larger appliances directly from the genny simply choose one of the larger units. Running:  Quiet as a Honda?  Not quite in all honesty - but very nearly - and at a fraction of the price!  Real world experience: I was standing next to a demonstration recently and one of the spectators said "... ten times quieter than the one I've got now"!  As well as full output there is an 'eco' setting for economy and low noise. NB: Battery charging at up to 8.3A takes place at very low revs  - from virtually tick over speed.

Efoy Fuel Cells: The green alternative. Clean, maintenance-free, eco-friendly and almost silent 12v power anywhere you like!  Burn alcohol rather than petrol and get electricity + water + some CO2 in return.
