Operation:  You use the telescopic hand crank to control the gear more smoothly. The electric version is fitted with a 220/230v motor. It is impossible to roll up the fabric incorrectly because of the built-in end stroke. The supporting arms are easily set using the quick lock system. What is completely new is that you can set the awning angle in advance! Is there usually an open door in the way or alternatively is it difficult to reach the supporting arms? Construction:  The Omnistor 8000 is an extremely strong awning. The awning box is higher and wider and the front profile consists of one part so that sagging is reduced. The retractable arms are 5mm wider and provide perfect fabric tension. To guarantee this fabric tension, the retractable arms are fitted with integrated tension arms which slide out and lock automatically when fully open. The front profile is bolted on both sides with a safety lock so that the awning stays securely closed during driving. Installation:  Standard installation is done using the supplied standard adaptor set or by hooking into an awning rail. This awning also fits all adapter systems from the series 5/5000 awnings.

Comfort:  A revolutionary and futuristic feature is the provision of cable channels for 12v cables in the front section, retractable arms, and awning box. This awning of the future will undoubtedly one day be fitted with all sorts of accessories such as LED lights, loudspeakers, aerials or electric insect catchers. The front section is fitted with a drainage system which disposes of water and waste and is easy to clean due to its shape. New:  The 8000 series is available in Anodized Aluminium finish to complement the increasing number of very attractive new grey or silver or other metallic paint motorhomes. Fabric colours available are: 03 blue Sky, 04 Alaska Grey, 18 Bahamas Turquoise, 20 Miami Grey, 21 Orlando, 22 Plain Grey (RAL 9002), 27 Curacao Blue. Not all are UK stocked though - 03, 04, and 27 are the most popular.
