We offer two sizes, the 4400 for campervans and small motorhomes and the 9000 for larger vehicles. Large vehicles may require multiple units especially in more serious heat. The 4400 consumes 25A max at 12v. On a camp site you can run it via a hook-up to your battery changer when consumption is 2A at 230v. The 9000 consumes 39A max at 12v and 2A on hook-up at 230v. In both cases a battery capacity of no less than 250 Amp hours is advised. When driving the alternator will keep the battery charged. The capacity of the alternator is important, for the 4400 we advise an alternator of at least 60A at 12V, for the RM9000 we advise an alternator of at least 80A. NB: Do be aware of the current these things can draw - the 9000 requires ~50A cable and can easily consume 200Ahr of battery capacity in a night if asked to cool rather strongly when its hot outside!  This is related to using 12v and actually still very efficient, if you used our Telair with an inverter it would be worse!
